This time, we came to Yuzawa for the first time in September when there was "no snow at all". The town was surrounded by green mountains. We came to the "Gala Yuzawa" ski resort in summer. This week is Gala's summer opening. On the last weekend, I came to Yuzawa for a short time. What are the summer outdoor activities in Gala that I want to experience?

This time, our editors, because of the typhoon, had a tight schedule, so we had to reluctantly give up the more time-consuming dry snow, and chose to experience the Mountain Cart, and also went hiking on the hiking trails. The price of taking the cable car to Gala in summer is ¥ 2,000, if you add dry skiing, it will be ¥3,400. There is only one open for dry skiing, which is Melody, the green line for beginners. This time I went to the usual M2. The 2nd floor is where the ski center buys ski tickets, the rental department, and the store. They are all closed and under construction, so the ticket sales will be temporarily closed. The counter has been moved to the 3rd floor, and it is said that the welcome counter is being reorganized on the 2nd floor! An exciting winter look! !

The place to take the cable car is also on the second floor. After taking the cable car, you can look down at Minami Uonuma. The scenery and mood are completely different from those in winter. Although I have been to Echigo-Yuzawa in winter several times, looking at this greenery It's so exuberant that I really can't imagine at the moment that it really snows a lot in winter to make this snowy country turn white as if paint has been poured on it.

MOUNTAIN CART

A trip costs ¥2,000 . The instructor will move the car and ride up the cable car in Chuo District together. After going up the mountain, he will teach us how to control the car. The left and right wheels can be braked separately, so you can easily perform S turns and drifts. The instructor knew that we had been to GALA in winter before, so he also asked us to go up to the Bell of Love in the Central District and ring the bell to see the different scenery. They are open MOUNTAIN CART, follow the green line Edelweiss , You can enjoy the scenery of Minamiuonuma along the way and get a thrill while sliding down. Because it is a snow road route, the trip down only takes 20-30 minutes. The instructor will take you down the mountain and then the activity will be over. It's a pity. In terms of CP value, it would be great if it could be done twice at once!

The outdoor hiking trail planned by Gala will provide a trail map so that you can crawl along the map, and then you will be given a "Bear Bell"! We originally thought that this activity would be a leisurely walk around GALA, but we didn’t know that we would also enter the forest area outside the Off-Road trail, and there were rope pulls along the way. It was a very tiring section! ! We shuttled through the forests in the North District, and after a while we came to a gentle area full of miscanthus. From there, you can also see the mountain scenery from the valley. It is a secret place suitable for taking beautiful photos for the Internet. Although that day There were occasional sun and rain along the way because the typhoon was passing through Japan. Fortunately, the weather in Niigata was not bad yet, so the photos we took were all very photogenic!

This time I was able to experience summer outdoor activities at Gala Yuzawa. It was really fresh. We have come to ski in previous years. This time we have a completely different activity experience and visual scenery. Autumn is coming, come to Yuzawa to enjoy it. Maple is also a good choice.
